  • How do I know if I need to register for the Virginia ELT electronic lien and title service?

    If your business is named as the lienholder on a Virginia title you need to register and use the Virginia Electronic Lien and Title service. Likewise, if you are a Virginia licensed financial institution that holds a security interest in a Virginia titled vehicle, you are required to enroll in the mandatory ELT Program.
